I HADN'T HEARD MUCH ABOUT CANNING AND SUCH, UNTIL I MOVED TO IOWA. I HEAR THIS IS A COMMON THING TO DO. LOTS OF FAMILIES GROW TOMATOES ALL SUMMER AND IN THE FALL THEY MAKE POUNDS AND POUNDS OF SALSA. I WANT MINE SPICY. NOT SURE IF I WILL EVEN BE ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY MAKE SALSA! FROM WHAT I'VE READ, IT'S A LONG PROCESS...& I'VE NEVER MASTERED THE ART OF BLANCHING. WORTH A TRY, RIGHT?
